Bad back?

I just read this article and thought it may of interest to you, as it is a recurring theme with a number of clients; “contrary to popular belief a hard mattress won’t beat bad back pain. When researchers from the University of Odense, Denmark examined back pain sufferers they found that sacking out on softer beds actually resulted in less daytime pain and an extra hour of sleep each night. “the harder the mattress, the more aggravated the already painful ligaments became” says study author Tom Bendix.

Garlic & back pain

Garlic is a natural form of an antibiotic. It has also been linked to pain relief and has been shown to reduce pain in those who consume garlic on a regular basis.

The human body does not build up any immunity to garlic, which means that the positive health benefits that come from consuming from garlic continue over time.

Garlic is also beneficial in the fight against LDL / bad cholesterol.

To treat back pain, fry 10 to 12 cloves of garlic in oil till they turn golden brown and allow to cool. Use the oil to massage the back

As with all skin treatments you should test a small amount of the oil on an inconspicuous area, discontinue use if you have a bad reaction. concentrate on the most painful areas. For best results allow the oil to remain on the skin for 3 hours. Repeat daily for up to 2 weeks.
